Continuing the subject of portrait and baby photos, I picked another photograph of me when I was younger to create an illustrative piece using descriptive words and placing them around the photograph. I tried to imagine the emotions and thoughts going through my head at the moment in time where the photograph was taken and played around with different typefaces. To bring together the words and photograph itself and emphasise the playfulness between the two, I surrounded my head with the words I wanted to use and tied the last word nearest to my hand through a swirl around my arm. This project was inspired by Andreea Robsecu's playful collages combining photography and typography.
